The Green Lab

The Green Lab creates urban green spaces that support strong social connections and promote wellbeing in Ōtautahi Christchurch. Our green spaces enable community building and connect people with nature in the urban environment.

Our mahi - 

Education and Workshops - Building resilient communities by sharing our knowledge. Workshops will be running from the Climate Action Campus, follow our Facebook page for the next ones coming up.

Community Co-design - Working with communities to co-design and create green spaces with emphasis on supporting gathering, community resilience, and connection. 

The Lab - A moveable, multi-use building to activate sites or communities which is now based at Rawhiti Domain on the Keyes Road side. There is a weekly working bee, reach out if you'd like to be involved.
